The sublime beginning in the academic year 2017 - 2018, Vyasa College of Arts & Science Women’s college, has created hallmark in fulfilling the long-term dream and foresight by the dynamic visionary, Philanthropist and Chairman Sri.S.Velladurai Pandian and his better-half Smt. V.Vellathai, Managing Director, whose initiative have deep-rooted for a noble cause to establish a college in their native village.

Agriculture is my passion. Being an active agriculturist I had to spend my time in cultivation of different crops so far. But since my better half and my younger generation are on the educational field for the past 25 years, there has been a dream deeply in my mind to start a women’s college in my native place. Now, it has come true. I pray to the Almighty to bless this institution with great success. ALL THE BEST!
Pranams! Basically I am a teacher. Teaching is my passion. My first gratitude goes to my beloved husband who made me a teacher of teachers! His motivations have made me to take up this herculean task of running a women’s college in this area. Age is not at all a bar to both of us. With the assistance of our younger generation and the dedicated and efficient faculty members, this institution will surely reach the top in academic, character formation, global personality development of girls and thus transform them as good human beings and citizens. We are six years, grateful to God for the rich and abundant life that we have experienced thus far, ripe and ready to take greater leaps of faith, reaching out for the skies, into the unknown but ever onward in our mission to reach the unreached, to transform and empower young rural women to serve the nation. In our quest for excellence, we seek to create globally competent leaders who dream, dare and do things to make this world a better place. The fruits of our visionary roots are evident in the experiences and opportunities the college offers. Our social outreach activities are a continuous outward spiral and our sphere of influence and impact is on the increase. The God of Hope has filled us with all joy and peace in believing that we will abound in hope by the power of Gods Spirit that is at work in us and through us.
